Athletics at Whittier Christian High School are more than competition. They are an extension of our mission to develop the whole student, and to help each person explore who they are. Our Christ-centered athletic programs are grounded in the values of teamwork, integrity, excellence, relationship, discipline and humility. We strive to cultivate leaders on and off the field who reflect Christ in their effort, sportsmanship and character.
At Whittier Christian our athletes are strengthened not only by their training and competition but also by the presence of our community in the stands. We want every parent, family member and friend to know how much their attendance matters. Whether it’s a packed gym for volleyball, the sidelines of a football game or the quiet focus of a golf match, your presence tells our students they are seen, valued and supported. When the stands are full the energy changes and athletes play with greater confidence, teams push harder and our school spirit shines.
This culture of support does not need to end when your child’s playing days are over. We invite our parents and alumni to remain an active part of Herald athletics for years to come. When you attend games after your child graduates you invest in the next generation of student-athletes and help keep our community strong and connected. Your ongoing encouragement reminds every player that they are part of something much bigger than themselves, a tradition of faith, perseverance and unity that has defined Whittier Christian for decades.
