FACTS TUITION MANAGEMENT

WCHS uses FACTS Tuition Management to process Enrollment, Tuition & other fees. You will link either a credit card or direct bank account information into FACTS for automatic payment depending on your payment plan. Your FACTS account is created from the main contact email entered on the WCHS Admissions Application.
In addition, FACTS Management Company offers a “Peace of Mind” option for families in the event of the death of a spouse. For a minimal fee of $22.50 a year the FACTS Management Company will pay the remaining balance of your student's tuition (excluding past due amounts owed) in the event of the death of a spouse.
Please be aware that if your tuition payment is missed or had insufficient funds you will be assessed a late fee and/or a NSF fee. Please communicate with the school to avoid these unnecessary fees.
Financial Aid is available to families on a need basis. Aid, in the form of a grant, typically ranges from 5-35% of the annual tuition, with some exceptions up to 50% based on extraordinary circumstances. Award amounts are evaluated through a financial analysis conducted by FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment with a final determination by the WCHS Financial Aid Committee. Your application will require the submission of necessary supporting documents: tax returns & W2 forms.

Families must re-apply for Financial Aid every year. For students to remain eligible to receive FA, they must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA + a minimum Satisfactory citizenship rating in each class. School involvement beyond the classroom is also strongly encouraged and taken into consideration.

COMMUNITY

We believe all students should experience the WCHS difference. To help make that happen, WCHS relies on significant donations from our generous community. These donors desire to lower the tuition barrier to excellent, private, Christian education for those families that cannot afford full tuition.

Several programs have been developed to partner with families to make financial assistance possible. If you know of someone who might be interested in contributing to these programs please reach out to Chris Duran, Director of Development: cduran@wchs.com

Financial Aid at WCHS

We believe every student who belongs at Whittier Christian should have access to the opportunity, growth and community found here. Financial aid is available to families with demonstrated need and is awarded in the form of grants that typically range from 5 - 35% of annual tuition. In exceptional cases, awards may reach up to 50%. All applications are evaluated through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, with final decisions made by the WCHS Financial Aid Committee. Required documents include recent tax returns and W-2 forms.
Families must reapply for financial aid each year. Students receiving aid are expected to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrate satisfactory citizenship in each class. School involvement beyond the classroom is strongly encouraged and may be considered as part of continued eligibility. Once your Admissions Application is complete, you may begin the financial aid process through the FACTS online system. Because funds are limited, early submission is strongly encouraged. Financial aid awards are not released until an admissions decision has been made.

Timeline for Financial Aid

We believe that every student should have the chance to experience the difference a WCHS education can make. • Do I get the same amount of Financial Aid every year?

Families must reapply every year for FA
  • How does the school determine financial need?

Financial need is determined by a review of the information provided by the family through the financial aid application and a follow-up phone call with the Director of Finance. The process is designed to keep all parent financial informaton strictly confidential.

The determination of need is a prayerful one on our part as we strive to be good stewards of the approximate $1 million WCHS has available each year for financial assistance of all kinds. The decision-making process takes into consideration both the income and expenses of each family, as well as other available assets. It has often been described as "more of an art than a science." Our desire is to assist as many families as possible to enable their student to enjoy the unparalleled experience of a WCHS education.

Starting in November each year, we begin receiving and reviewing applications for the following school year. To provide an official answer for financial aid, the admissions application must also be submitted, and the personal interview conducted for new students.

We work hard to provide a decision within a week or two of an application to enable families to have plenty of time to consider and make the important decision to enroll their student.
