The Arts at Whittier Christian High School reflect the beauty, creativity and truth of our Creator. We believe the arts are essential to a well-rounded, Christ-centered education. We are committed to nurturing the talents and passions of students who desire to explore, discover and pursue their life calling in the arts.
Our visual and performing arts programs include opportunities in studio art, design, instrumental and vocal music, drama and theatre. Students are encouraged to explore new forms of expression and deepen their existing skills, all while developing an appreciation for artistic excellence and integrity.
Teachers and directors know their students and walk closely with them as both instructors and mentors. From rehearsals to gallery exhibitions, students experience the joy of artistic collaboration and the discipline of preparing something meaningful to share with others.
Because of our school’s intentionally designed size, students have unique access to performance opportunities, leadership roles and one-on-one feedback. Whether they are stepping onto the stage, behind a camera, or into the studio, they are supported, known and challenged to grow.
Ultimately, the arts at WCHS are about more than talent. They are about forming hearts that see the world through beauty and truth. Through every note, stroke and script, we remain committed to equipping young people to think and live biblically, with creativity, courage and conviction.
